from biding veterinary hospitals. Each is highly qualified

Andrew
Love, D.V.M.
Hospital Director
Dr. Love is a Missouri native who first knew he wanted
to be a veterinarian while watching the veterinarians
on his father’s farm. His undergraduate career
first began at Hannibal LaGrange College where he
met his wife to be, Mrs. Love. He then transferred
to the University of Missouri-Columbia where he continued
his undergraduate career and went through veterinary
school.
On May 31,1965 he and his wife started Webster Groves
Animal Hospital in a white two story house. The hospital
has grown and in 1981 the practice was moved to 7979 Big Bend Blvd. In the
fall of 2003 the hospital moved into it's present
location, a state of
the art 16,000 square foot facility located at 8028
Big Bend Blvd. Dr. Love is the proud father of three
children and the proud grandfather of one granddaughter.
In his time away from work he likes to ride horses
and has won several horse shows. Another favorite
pastime is spending time with his granddaughter, Beth.

Patrick Tate, D.V.M.
Chief of Veterinary Staff
Supervises all areas of patient care. Dr. Tate was
born and raised in Louisiana, where he received his
D.V.M. degree at LSU. He worked in private practice
for 7 years in South Miami, and did a post graduate
internship at the University of Missouri Columbia, before
joining WGAH in 1989.
Dr.
Tate spends his extra time with his wife Kerrie and
children Tyler (college student) and David (10yrs
younger). He still enjoys long distance running and a
periodic fishing trip.

Jennifer
Love-Beaulieu, D.V.M.
Associate Director
Dr. Love-Beaulieu is a native of St. Louis. She received
her BS in Biology and BA in Chemistry from Missouri
Baptist College and her D.V.M. from the University
of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Beaulieu has spent her entire
life around veterinary medicine and animals and has
always had cats and dogs. Dr. Love-Beaulieu
divides her work between learning the business and
seeing patients. She is a proud mother of her 4 year
old daughter Beth.

Christine Bovier, D.V.M.
Dr. Bovier divides her time between canine and feline
medicine and surgery. She is a native of the St. Louis
area. She attended Purdue University for her undergraduate
studies and received her D.V.M. degree from Purdue in
1994. Dr. Bovier worked in a small rural animal practice
in Indiana for 2 years before returning to the St. Louis
area in 1996 and joining the WGAH staff. She currently
resides in Webster Groves with her 2 dogs and 5 cats.

 Todd Thomas, D.V.M., Diplomate,
A.B.V.P
Dr. Thomas is a native of St. Louis, and received
his D.V.M. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia
in 1996. He has been in private practice since 1996
and joined WGAH in 1998. In 2002 he became board certified
by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in
canine and feline practice. In his free time, he enjoys
fishing, camping, and playing piano.

Bob Nack, D.V.M., Diplomate,
A.B.V.P

Dr. Nack is a native of St. Louis. He attended
Northeast Missouri State University and is a graduate of
the University of Missouri College of Veterinary
Medicine. Dr. Nack is also a Diplomate of the American
Board of Veterinary Practitioners. This organization has
certified him as a board certified specialist in canine
and feline practice. He is married to Dr. Michelle Nack
and together they have four boys, Will, Sam, Max, and
Ben, and they have three cats, Calvin, Hobbes, and Nick.

Bill
Bogasch, D.V.M.
Staff Surgeon
Does all types of elective and non-elective surgery.
Dr. Bogasch was born and raised in South St. Louis and
received his D.V.M. degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He has worked in several private practices including
his own mixed practice in the country where he now lives.
Dr. Bogasch joined WGAH in 1996.

Kurt Bedow, D.V.M.
Dr. Bedow grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota. He did
his undergraduate work at Texas A & M and KU. He
graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Bedow's focus is medicine of the dog and cat. He
is the proud father of 2 children, Katie and Caleb.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family
and jogging. |
Jody
Zimmermann Balke, D.V.M.
Dr. Jody Zimmermann grew up in Sussex County, New Jersey
knowing she always wanted to become a veterinarian. She
started this journey at Rutgers University in New Jersey
and then continued at the University of Missouri College
of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2003. In
her free time, she enjoys her dog Bernie, a three year old
beagle mix, and two cats, Chick and Duck. She also enjoys
running, biking, fishing, hunting, cooking, and spending
time with her husband Michael.

Jennifer
Dubbert, D.V.M.
Dr. Dubbert was raised in Mexico, Missouri. She received
her degree from the university of Missouri-Columbia
and joined WGAH in 2003. Before moving to St. Louis,
she practiced medicine in a mixed practice in Franklin,
Kentucky. Her interests are cats, medicine, and ophthalmology.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her
two cats, Turtle and Sabrina, and hiking and biking. |

Daniel Domer, D.V.M.
Dr. Domer was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He
completed his undergraduate studies at the University of
Missouri at Rolla, and graduated from veterinary school at
the University of Missouri Columbia. In his spare time he
enjoys exercising, reading, and playing with his cat
Ralph.

Christine Gaydos, D.V.M.
Dr. Gaydos grew up in south St. Louis City. She
received her B.S. from Truman State University where she
majored in Agricultural Science and minored in Biology.
She then graduated with her D.V.M. from the University of
Missouri - Columbia in 2004. She likes to relax with her 2
dogs, Hunter, and Riley, and two rabbits, Sidney and
Sammy. In her free time she enjoys running, mountain and
road biking, and hiking.

Abby Kerckhoff, D.V.M.
Dr. Abby Kerckhoff
was born and raised in St. Louis. She has known that
she wanted to be a veterinarian since she could barely
reach the exam table. She received both her BS in
Animal Science as well as her DVM while attending The
University of Missouri in Columbia between 1997 and 2005.
She has one dog, Montana, who is a lab mix. In her spare
time she enjoys playing sports such as basketball,
lacrosse and soccer along with any outdoor activity,
especially hiking and camping.

Angela Randazzo, D.V.M.
Angela
Randazzo was born and raised in St. Louis. She graduated
from Oakville High School in 1995. In 1998 she moved to
Columbia, MO, where she met her future husband and got
married in 2001 as well as received a BS from University
of Missouri. In 2001 she began her pre-clinical veterinary
studies in the Caribbean on the island of St. Kitts where
she lived for over 2 years. Her clinical year was
completed at University of Missouri and she graduated from
vet school in Jan 2005. Angela and her husband James
recently added a new addition to their family, a baby boy,
Jackson Roger Smith on January 14, 2005. All, including
their lab Brimley, are excited about returning to live and
work in St. Louis.

Ailien Britt, D.V.M.
Dr. Ailien Britt is a native of Missouri. She received her
undergraduate education at the University of
Missouri-Columbia and University of Missouri- St. Louis
where she achieved a BS in Biology with a minor in
Chemistry. She received her DVM at the University of
Missouri-Columbia in 2005. She has an interest in canine
and feline internal medicine and surgery. She has two cats
and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys running with
her dog, reading, hiking, and pursuing artistic ventures.

Heather Hendrickson, D.V.M.
DR.
Heather Hendrickson just about grew up at WGAH, starting
as a receptionist, then becoming a technician before
attending vet school. Eleven years later, she is a
member of our veterinary staff. Dr. Hendrickson is
a native of Kirkwood, where she lives with her husband,
Jimmy; Brea, the Rottweiler, mixed breed Hannah; and the
cats, Simon and Bob. She earned her B.S. in
Biology at the University of Missouri and her veterinary
degree at the University of Missouri College of
Veterinary Medicine. In addition to seeing
patients, she performs many procedures in the dental
department, from extractions to restoration. |
Kevin Schabbing, D.V.M.
Dr. Kevin Schabbing hails from rural Missouri, where he
worked for his father, who is also a veterinarian. He
attended veterinary school at St. George's University in
Grenada, West Indies, and completed his clinical studies
at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary
Medicine. He interned at the Atlantic Coast
Veterinary Specialists, becoming an associate
veterinarian in the emergency medicine department.
Recently married, Dr. Schabbing enjoys spending time
with his new family, playing various sports, hiking and
snow boarding. |

Laura Kee, D.V.M.
Dr.
Kee is a native of St. Louis. She attended the
University of Missouri-St. Louis and received her D.V.M.
degree from the University of Missouri, College of
Veterinary Medicine in Columbia in 2007. Dr. Kee
divides her time at WGAH between canine and feline
medicine and surgery. She currently resides in Kirkwood
with her dog, Shorty, and two cats, Kiely and Sidney.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for various
charitable organizations, traveling, fishing, reading,
and spending time with friends and family. |

Alan Weltig, D.V.M.

Dr. Weltig has a strong interest in exotic patients, such
as reptiles, ferrets, birds, rabbits, and "pocket pets"
as well as seeing dogs and cats. He graduated from
the University of Missouri - Columbia and completed an
internship in internal medicine, surgery, radiology,
cardiology, emergency medicine and exotic medicine.
He spends his free time with his wife, Debbie (also a
veterinarian) and their daughter. He has dogs,
cats, an iguana, a bearded dragon and three snakes at
home. Dr. Weltig enjoys educating groups about
exotic animals and is a zoo interpreter at the St. Louis
Zoo. Dr. Weltig is available for after hours
consult and will start house calls for exotic pets in
October 2007.
