Domestic and International Health Certificates

Traveling with your pet by land and entering different states within the U.S. will sometimes require a health certificate from your veterinarian.

Taking your pet on a flight will also require a health certificate. A health certificate is a signed document your veterinarian gives you after a full physical examination. This document states your pet is healthy to fly.

There are two types of health certificates:

Domestic Health Certificate

Flight destinations within the USA (with the exception of Hawaii). Our veterinarians are accredited to sign a domestic health certificate.

International Health Certificate

(7001 Form): Flight destinations to other countries and Hawaii. Our veterinarians are also accredited to sign an International Health Certificate. Keep in mind, these export documents are time sensitive. Each country has its own specific requirements at the port of entry.

Important: If you plan to travel with your pet, please call us at ext. 291 as soon as you confirm your travel details.
We'll need to know what type of pet you plan to travel with, the number of pets traveling, destination and date of departure. Securing certificates to certain Asian countries can take up to 6 months, depending on regulations. European and island destinations, including Hawaii, can sometimes take over a month. Schedule your appointment right away to save valuable time and prevent inconvenient delays to your travel plans.

Obedience Training

Obedience classes are a great way for your pet to learn good canine citizen skills! These classes also give you a chance to bond with your pet, all while learning important behavior and training techniques. We offer puppy manners classes and basic obedience classes for clients and their pets. Classes are organized on a variety of days and times, so there is always a class that fits your schedule. Please call us at 314-968-4310 ext. 290 for more information or to register for a class.
