<? echo $title ?>Andrew Love, DVM, Hospital Director and Owner

Dr. Andrew Love is the owner and hospital director of Webster Groves Animal Hospital & Urgent Care Center. A Missouri native with a lifelong interest in veterinary medicine, Dr. Love first opened Webster Groves in 1965 and initially ran the practice with his wife out of a small two-story building.

He began his undergraduate education at Hannibal LaGrange College but later transferred to the University of Missouri, Columbia, where he received his Bachelor's Degree. He completed his veterinary education there at the same time and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1964.

Their daughter, Dr. Jennifer Love-Songer, is the assistant director of Webster Groves. When he's not busy with his duties at the hospital, Dr. Love enjoys riding horses and has won titles at several horse shows. He also enjoys spending time with his granddaughter, Beth.

A native of St. Louis and the associate hospital director of Webster Groves, Dr. Jennifer Love-Songer has worked with animals for most of her life. She attended Missouri Baptist College and received Bachelors' Degrees in both Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Love-Songer continued her education at the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Love-Songer divides her work between learning the business and seeing patients. Her hobbies include kayaking, mining for various gems and stones, canoeing and sky diving. Dr. Love-Songer and her daughter, Beth, enjoy the companionship of their fuzzy felines, Bob, Edward, Thomas, Troubles, Ellie and Sweet Water, and their dog, Scarlett.

<? echo $title ?>Dr. Patrick Tate, Chief of Veterinary Staff

Dr. Patrick Tate is chief of the veterinary staff and a general practitioner at Webster Groves Animal Hospital & Urgent Care Center. He has cared for animals at Webster Grove since 1989. Prior to his arrival at Webster Groves, Dr. Tate practiced veterinary medicine in south Miami at a private practice for six years. A native of Louisiana, Dr. Tate attended the University of Southern Louisiana, where he worked toward his undergraduate degree and his veterinary degree simultaneously. After attaining his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1982, he completed a post-graduate internship at the University of Missouri, Columbia before joining the Webster Groves medical staff. Dr. Tate's professional interests are in internal medicine.

Dr. Tate enjoys the companionship of two dogs, Raffe and Reign, and two cats, Dusty and Meisha. When he's not at work, he prefers spending his leisure time with his wife, Kerrie and their two children, Tyler and David, as well as fishing and long-distance running.

The hospital administrator at Webster Groves Animal Hospital & Urgent Care Center since 2007, Angel Venegoni has more than two decades of experience in the animal care field. Angel studied Animal Science at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She worked at Hill's Pet Nutrition and Pet Center, Ltd. before joining the Webster Groves staff. She enjoys working with animals and is proud of the high-quality medicine offered at the hospital. Her goal is to make the hospital a better place for clients, patients and employees.

Angel loves tap dancing and is an instructor at a local adults only studio. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family & friends. Her favorite places to travel are Italy & Walt Disney World. She is owned and loved by her boxer, Finn.
